API
REDsdk readback images give you a direct access to the content of hardware graphics buffers. It's the fastest way to retrieve the content of a buffer but at no guarantee regarding the result as it depends on the current rendering state of the platform and the graphics drivers.
If performances are not critical, it's safer and easier to use render images instead (see Render image).
